We’ve had a busy few days of interviews and shows, driving to Prestonsburg, Harlan, Hazard and Jenkins. For those who have never been to Eastern Kentucky, this area is remarkably beautiful, even in winter when the trees are bare. We can only imagine what it must look like in the fall when the leaves are changing. Outside our room at the lodge at Jenny Wiley State Resort Park, our balcony overlooks Dewey Lake with the mountains as a backdrop. Beautiful! We appreciate the wonderful service we have received, a truly commendable staff. We look forward to coming back soon.

ChTwo busy and blessed weeks for Chloë . . .
She survived and thrived on a road trip to Dallas, Texas where she met Mary Fay Jackson, songwriter (“Roses”), recording artist, television host (“Southern Gospel Praise“, “Texas Country Gospel”) and videographer. She also had the honor of meeting Mary Fay’s Aunt Connie Perry, singer/songwriter, and Mark Aldred, singer/songwriter and host of the television show “Music with Mark.” Chloë and her Dad Michael were guests on “Southern Gospel Praise” where Chloë performed several songs, including “A New Road” and her next single “Love So True.” The show aired on the UANetwork on Thursday, January 31 at 6 p.m. CST.
In Ardmore, Oklahoma, a short drive from Dallas, Chloë attended New Light Church where she met Bishop Roosevelt Vinson and his wonderful congregation. Chloë was blessed to perform there at the Thursday evening and Sunday morning services.
On the drive back to Kentucky, she detoured to Jennings, Louisiana where she joined Hunter Logan and Charlie Boot for the fun and funny “Morning Show with Hunter & Boot” on HLE Radio on Tuesday, February 5th. During the show, she fielded several calls from listeners, including a call from Pedro Smith, a dedicated listener who calls in to the show regularly and writer of the song “Wings of my Starvation,” a parody of the CrossFire Gospel Band’s hit song “Wings of my Salvation.” With an offer on the table for Pedro to write for Chloë, we look forward to hearing more from him.
Back at home, Chloë took a few days to rest and catch up on school work before heading to London, Kentucky for an interview at WYGE 92.3 on Saturday, February 9th. On Sunday, February 10th, Chloë was blessed to perform at her home church during the evening service.
After her vocal lesson today, she happily found herself the subject of a blog post at GOD’s Country Radio, where “A New Road” is currently the station’s featured song and listeners can hear great Christian Country music online 24 hours a day.
Chloë was blessed this morning to meet and visit with Dale Turner, host of Your Country Mornings, at the WDKN studio in Dickson, Tennessee. She and her dad Michael talked about the story behind the song and their upcoming trip to Dallas, Texas, where Chloë will perform on Mary Fay Jackson’s “Southern Gospel Praise” television show. They also performed live Chloë’s new song, “Love So True,” to be released in April (hopefully!).
Check out Dale’s show Your Country Mornings every weekday on Dickson’s Hometown Station WDKN 1260 and 101.5, or click the Listen Live button to listen online at wdkn.com.
